Fees

This is a private billing practice Individual sessions last 50 minutes with a fee of $280.

Family and couples sessions last 50 minutes with a fee of $330.

Concession fees may apply to individuals that are unemployed or pensioners. Each case is assessed individually. All fees must be paid at the time of your appointment.

Please note that there is a 48 hour cancellation policy, your appointment is specially reserved for you. If you need to change or cancel your appointment please do so with at least 48 hours notice to avoid paying cancellation fees.

Medicare rebates

Medicare rebates are available for psychological treatment with registered psychologists with a Medicare provider number. In order to obtain Medicare rebates you must have a referral from your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician along with a Mental Health Treatment Plan, most GP’s require a longer appointment to complete this.

Under the Australian Government’s Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative you are eligible for Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year (January 1st to December 31st). You will require a review with your GP after the 6th session. Rebates are claimed by each client directly with Medicare.

Private health

Most private health funds will provide some level of cover for psychological treatment. The amount covered will depend on your private health fund and your level of cover. For further information please contact your health fund.

If you are a private client, you do not need a referral from your doctor to make an appointment.
